Ailya Patel, ND
director
I was exposed to natural medicines from a very young age through my grandmother, kindling a love for healing. Attending conventional medical school in India (where natural therapies are the norm), I understood my true passions! I had also developed a keen interest and joy for pediatrics through my experience working with impoverished families, specifically mothers and children with varying health issues. Becoming a mom to my five children, I realized how important it was to lay good foundations of health that they could carry with them. The next step for me was to enroll in the IMG Bridge programme at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. I am now in my first-year post-graduation and concurrently a student working towards my IBCLC. I can apply my training in conventional medicine and naturopathic medicine to be a part of a child's health journey, which is crucial to their well-being and families.
Fun Fact: I love power tools and repurposing furniture.
